Joan Habib |
After more than five years managing Long & Foster's largest DC office, Joan founded STELLAR SERVICE to return to her favorite part of the real estate business, helping clients buy and sell homes. She is a Certified Buyer Representative and holds Broker's licenses in the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the state of Maryland.
A Mid-Westener by birth and Washingtonian by choice, Joan spent many years working in public interest environmental organizations including the Environmental Law Institute, the Franklin Research Institute, and the National Wildlife Federation. She was a founder of the Energy Conservation Coalition and worked briefly for the government in the Washington Office of the Tennessee Valley Authority. In her own neighborhood, Joan has served on the Board of Directors of the Cleveland Park Historical Society, as well as on the Architectural Review Committee.
Joan was President of JLR, a home renovation corporation working to renovate historic properties in the District. This interest in historic preservation led to her work with the Greater Capitol Area Association of Realtors to provide area Realtors with a greater understanding of the historic nature of our Capital City. Her knowledge of bricks and mortar and her previous professional experience in the environmental community make her uniquely prepared to help buyers and sellers with the many environmental and energy issues which affect them today.

Pennsylvania native transplanted to the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, Jeff is licensed in all three local jurisdictions and has maintained his Pennsylvania real estate license as well. He is our computer expert. He maintains our equipment and keeps us all up-to-date and finds innovative ways to bring the best of technology to the service of our clients!
His open, up-beat demeanor makes him a favorite with clients. But it is his incredible memory and amazing organizational skills, which make him indispensable to our team. He has a special talent for ferreting out the perfect property for clients and the persistence to keep at it until he finds it.
With eight years of real estate experience behind him, Jeffrey looks forward to expanding his knowledge and abilities. After a short sojourn in Pennsylvania, he as returned to the DC area to rejoin Stellar Service. We are delighted to have him back.
